AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunic said his team lost to Napoli because they were just unlucky.
Milan host Napoli in the seventh week of Serie A 2022/2023 at the San Siro, Monday (19/09/2022) early morning hrs. The game between the two teams was almost evenly matched in terms of ball possession.
But Milan is more aggressive. They recorded 22 shots off throughout the game.
Unfortunately they could only score one goal. While Napoli recorded nine shots and resulted in two goals.

After the match Rade Krunic said AC Milan had indeed lost. But there is a positive side of the match against Napoli.
He said Milan's game was good. Unfortunately they are not supported by Dewi Fortuna, especially in front of the opponent's goal.
"It's digestible, but the points are worth it. Against such an opponent is not easy, but we cannot be happy just because of his performances," he lamented to Sky Italia.
"We were good at managing the game, but it didn't go well, we weren't lucky. We could have done more in the first half, one goal would have helped us," said Krunic.

Milan are three points behind Napoli, who are at the top of the table. According to Rade Krunic, the defeat will not affect the Rossoneri's chances of winning the Scudetto this season.
“There are a lot of teams that will fight for the Scudetto and have strengthened. We are always there and we will try to win this year," Krunic said.

AC Milan coach, Steafano Pioli, said he had predicted Napoli would be a tough opponent for his foster children. But he felt that his team actually had a chance to pick up points from the match.
